Recipes Using Quantum Fixes Mixes
Bread Crumbs
To make bread crumbs, first make a loaf of Quantum Fixes bread. Once the loaf has cooled, cut into slices, then cubes. The smaller the cubes, the less drying time it will need. Place cubes on a sheet pan and toast in the oven at 220F for an hour. Cubes should be hard and crumbly. If they are not, put them back into the oven, checking them every 15 minutes for doneness. Once they are dried, you can store the cubes in a zip top bag to use as croutons or put cubes in a food processor to chop up into a bread crumbs.
Croutons
To make croutons, first make a loaf of Quantum Fixes bread. Once they are fully dried, melt a stick of butter in a sauté pan or non-stick pan. Add cubes and a teaspoon of garlic and Italian herbs, if desired. If you are not ready to make the croutons yet, you can store the cubes in a zip top bag in the refrigerator to make when you are ready.
Waffles
To make waffles, you will use 2 times the amount of wet and dry ingredients for a small waffle iron, and 4-5 the amount of wet/dry mix for a large waffle iron.
